Rapper ProVerb proudly shared that he was announced as the Ebobea Book Awards’ Global Ambassador. The 16th edition of the event, a prestigious international book celebration, recognised the media personality’s 2025 book, To Health With It!

ProVerb wins big at Ebobea Book Awards
ProVerb, born Tebogo Tekisho, posted about his win on his Instagram account on 28 May 2026, noting that he was “truly humbled” for the recognition. He was one of 30 nominees from 30 nations whose books were honoured. The award recognises a voice that transcends borders and inspires lives.
The businessman wasn’t the only person representing the continent. Miss Rwanda 2020, Naomi Nishimwe, won Best Book, Best Author, and Most Inspiring Author for her memoir, More Than a Crown.

What is To Health With It! about?
ProVerb’s award-winning book is described as a reflective yet practical guide to holistic living. It draws on aspects of the artist’s life, specifically exploring how he tried to sustain a healthier lifestyle by overcoming trauma, achieving financial freedom, and evolving from an entertainer to academic and boardroom leader.
