South Sudanese-Australian supermodel Adut Akech Bior is a picture of glowing beauty in her pregnancy photoshoot as she awaits the arrival of her baby.
The 26-year-old expectan mom shared the pictures on Instagram, captioning the gallery: “As I await the arrival of this precious little soul, I am filled with gratitude for the love, strength, and hope that surround me. This period of anticipation is not just about preparing for the new life to come, it is also about celebrating the incredible power and beauty within.”
Already mother to a young daughter with her partner, model Samuel Elkhier, Bior is seemingly managing the balance of family life and career with grace.
Having been born in South Sudan, Bior and her family went to Australia in 2008 and settled in Adelaide, according to Australia’s National Portrait Gallery.
She exploded onto the modeling scene when she made her debut at Paris Fashion Week for the Yves Saint Laurent show at the age of 16 in 2016. She has since made 33 Paris Fashion Weeks appearances.
Bior’s bourgening belly was front and centre of her custom Thom Browne. gown at the Costume Art Met Gala 2026, featuring pale pink flower embellishments over the bump on the all-black dress.
Is that perhaps a reveal of the gender of the baby? Only time will tell.
