South African entertainers and music duo Motlatsi Mafatshe and Gabisile Tshabalala are reportedly experiencing a strain in their relationship. The couple has known each other for years and confirmed their romantic partnership in 2023 after roughly a year of dating.

Gabisile Tshabalala prioritises her faith

According to Buzz Life News, sources close to the couple alleged that they are clashing, and their differing aspirations are further crumbling their relationship. Gabisile is reportedly embracing a stronger focus on ministry and church leadership following a recent spiritual journey to Israel. The sources claim that the move is distancing her from the late-night performances that have long defined the duo’s career in the music industry.

While Motlatsi shares the same faith, he is said to not be as deeply devoted, and the growing difference in their lifestyles has allegedly created tension in both their relationship and future career direction.

One person added, “[It’s] about where their priorities now lie with Gabisile increasingly focused on spiritual life while Motlatsi remains committed to their entertainment work together.”

Many people on the internet responded to the news, with some left with questions about Gabisile’s international trip.

A curious @NalediGontse10 wondered, “Tjoh, what was she doing in Israel that radicalised her so much?”

@MagnaAlta stated their opinion about the couple, writing, “Their relationship was too choreographed. I honestly saw this coming.”

Hoping for the best, @GlorMazibuko commented, “Let’s hope it’s just trouble that every couple usually has. I really liked them.”

A stunned @dinnydeethulo asked, “She went where for what now?”
