Tsekeleke breaks silence after hospital scare and death rumours

Tsekeleke spent his milestone 40th birthday in a hospital bed after collapsing just days before his big celebration.

The Lose It or Lose Me personality was rushed to the hospital on 24 July 2025, forcing him to cancel planned festivities.

While the cause of the medical emergency has not been revealed, concern quickly spread among fans.

On his birthday, a member of his team took to Facebook to update his followers, writing, “Tsekeleke has collapsed and is currently in the hospital! Please keep him in your prayers during this difficult time. We’re hoping for a full recovery and will keep you all updated. Stay strong, Tsekeleke! Team Mjojomba.”

Shortly after the announcement, false reports of Tsekeleke’s death began circulating on social media.

The entertainer was quick to shut them down with a video statement, reassuring fans that he is very much alive and on the road to recovery.

Clearly frustrated, he urged his followers not to believe the hoax.

He also expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support, thanking everyone who reached out with prayers and well wishes.
