Emtee shares a series of emotional posts on X (formerly Twitter), where he opened up about his strained relationship with his family, the pressures of fame, and his desire for privacy.

The rapper, known for his candid personality on social media, revealed that he does not feel supported by his family in his music career, although he has accepted the situation over time.

“My family don’t support my career. Never have and I’ve made peace with that. I still take care of em,” he wrote.

Emtee went on to express frustration over the attention he receives from the public, saying he sometimes wishes people would leave him alone.

“Sometimes I wish people would leave me alone. I’m very self-sufficient,” he added.

In another post, the award-winning artist downplayed his celebrity status, insisting he does not see himself as a public figure in the traditional sense.

“I’m not a celebrity. I just happen to do this shit n I do it well,” he wrote.

He also reflected on the emotional toll of feeling unsupported by those closest to him, while appreciating the backing he receives from fans across the country.

“The people closest to me treat like shit. Dats y I love and appreciate the support 🇿🇦 shows me,” he shared.

The posts have since drawn mixed reactions from fans, with many expressing concern for the rapper while others praised his honesty about family struggles and mental pressure in the entertainment industry.
