Ngizwe Mchunu refuses to apologise to Julius Malema despite court ruling

Ngizwe Mchunu has made it clear that he has no intention of apologising to Julius Malema, despite a recent Gauteng High Court ruling in Malema’s favour in a defamation case.

The court outcome ordered Mchunu to issue an apology, but the outspoken activist has reportedly doubled down on his stance, insisting he will not comply.

His comments were made in a video circulating on social media, where he openly rejected the idea of apologising and continued to express strong criticism toward Malema.

In the clip, Mchunu also appeared to reference Malema’s political history while dismissing expectations that he should back down.

“He is playing a game he used to play when he was in the ANC,” he said before adding further remarks that included insults directed at the EFF leader.

The video also shows former radio personality Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma engaging Mchunu in conversation, encouraging him to reconsider his stance.

She suggested that an apology could help him move forward and shift focus to other priorities.

“You’re not apologising for Malema. You are doing this so we can move on from this and focus on our mission, not on Malema,” she advised.

Despite this, Mchunu maintained his position, leaving social media users divided over his defiance and what it could mean for the enforcement of the court’s ruling and the ongoing tensions between the two public figures.
