Rachel Kolisi has melted many hearts online after she shared a series of throwback photographs, revisiting moments from when her children, Nicholas and Keziah, were still small.

The collection also included Siya Kolisi’s younger siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, whom the couple legally adopted in 2014 and have raised as their own ever since.

“A throwback on a Friday. I remember feeling like the days would never end when the kids were small. And now I wonder how on earth we got here so quickly,” she captioned.

The images prompted an immediate wave of warmth from followers, many praising Rachel for the way she has consistently shown up for all four children with visible care and devotion — particularly during one of the most publicly scrutinised periods of her life.

Shared on the eve of Mother’s Day weekend, the post carried an added emotional weight. Rachel has spoken candidly in recent months about navigating her divorce from Siya, a journey she has reflected on throughout her Falling Forwardbook and documentary tour — a level of openness that has resonated strongly with many South African women.

The comments beneath the post reflected that connection.

“You are a good mother,” wrote one follower. Another added: “Her children arise and call her blessed.”

Others simply called her “a perfect mother.”

Again and again, the sentiment was the same: admiration for a woman people see as deeply intentional in the way she loves and raises her children, regardless of the challenges unfolding around her.
