SEKHUKHUNE UNITED VS KAIZER CHIEFS BETWAY PREMIERSHIP BATTTE FOR TOP THREE

Both Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune United look to solidify a top-three finish to secure CAF Confederation Cup football next season.

Amakhosi enter the contest in third place on the table, having shown strong form in the latter half of the season. The fight for third place is tight, with Kaizer Chiefs holding 48 points from 27 matches, placing them roughly five points ahead of chasing sides like AmaZulu in fourth.

A win against Babina Noko would all but guarantee a Top 3 finish for Amakhosi. However, they face a determined Sekhukhune team, currently sitting in fifth position with 42 points, aiming to make a final push to catch up to the top contenders.

This showdown follows a turbulent period for Sekhukhune, who recently made a coaching change with Eric Tinkler departing before Paulos Masehe took over in the interim. Despite this, they remain a dangerous side, having recently beaten Chippa United 3-1 away.

Kaizer Chiefs will look to maintain their recent form. It included a competitive draw against Mamelodi Sundowns and a Soweto Derby draw, to cement their position in the top three.

The match is expected to be a physical battle at the Peter Mokaba Stadium. Both teams eager to maximise their points in the final stages of the 2025/26 season.
