Luyanda Zuma has left fans stunned after opening up about a recent scam that cost her thousands of rands.
The rising star, known for her roles on Isitha: The Enemy and Shaka iLembe, took to social media to share the unsettling experience, revealing that she had been defrauded of R11,000 in a single incident.
“I got scammed R11,000 this morning,” she wrote in a brief but alarming post.
Zuma admitted the situation caught her completely off guard, describing the ordeal as carefully executed.
“I can’t believe I didn’t see it coming… a clean scam,” she added, expressing disbelief at how easily it unfolded.
The actress, who also gained national attention after finishing as a runner-up in the 2025 Miss South Africa 2025 competition, has previously trended online for addressing public criticism and speaking candidly about her experiences in the spotlight.
