DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small are taking Scorpion Kings Live 2026 concert to FNB

Amapiano heavyweights DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small are aiming for their biggest moment yet as they take Scorpion Kings Live to FNB Stadium on 19 September 2026.

Following the success of their previous showcase, the duo, collectively known as Scorpion Kings, are scaling things up dramatically, with plans to fill one of Africa’s largest venues with more than 70,000 fans.

The move signals a bold step forward for the genre, positioning the event as a potential record-breaking Amapiano concert on a global scale.

This year’s edition carries the theme “A Family Affair,” highlighting not just the artists on stage but the broader community that has helped push Amapiano beyond South Africa’s borders.

The show promises to bring together collaborators, rising stars, and fans in what’s being described as more than just a performance, but a shared cultural moment.

Reflecting on their journey, DJ Maphorisa looked back at their previous show as a turning point.

“Loftus was a moment we’ll never forget – the energy, the love, the unity. It showed us just how far Amapiano has come. But for us, that was only the beginning. FNB Stadium is about taking that feeling and amplifying it for the world to see.”

Kabza De Small echoed the sentiment, emphasising growth and unity as the driving force behind the event.

“Every Scorpion Kings Live show is about growth – not just for us, but for the culture. ‘A Family Affair’ is exactly what this is. It’s about bringing everyone together again, bigger than ever, and creating something unforgettable.”

With a reputation for delivering high-energy, immersive performances, the Scorpion Kings are expected to raise the bar once again, combining top-tier production with a star-studded lineup.
