The result leaves Mamelodi Sundowns second on the log, one point behind Orlando Pirates, although they still have a game in hand.
Stellenbosch remain in ninth place, just two points outside the top eight.
Mamelodi Sundowns dominated possession early on, but it was the visitors who threatened first when Devin Titus forced a block from goalkeeper Ronwen Williams.
The hosts responded in the 27th minute, with Ntsabeleng finishing neatly after a quick exchange with Arthur Sales.
Despite continued pressure from the Tshwane side, they were unable to extend their lead.

Stellenbosch grew into the game in the second half, creating chances through Iqraam Rayners and Omega Mdaka, while Sage Stephens produced key saves to keep his side in contention.
The decisive moment came late on when Chumani Butsaka was fouled in the box.
Mabasa initially saw his penalty saved, but reacted quickest to slot home the rebound in the 86th minute.
Mamelodi Sundowns pushed for a winner in the closing stages but were unable to break through again, settling for a draw that tightens the race at the top of the Betway Premiership standings.
Masandawana will next be in league action on Sunday, 26 April against 10th-placed Richards Bay at the Richards Bay Stadium.
