Unathi frowns at disrespect from X user Donald

Unathi Nkayi has hit back at a social media user after he posted a video of her and her friends with a caption that many found disrespectful.

The post, shared by Donald Makhasane, showed Nkayi enjoying time with her circle.

However, his caption sparked outrage after he wrote: “My boys, I can’t teach you everything. This is the group of grannies you need to date to get ahead in life. I’m not gonna repeat myself.”

Nkayi did not hold back in her response, calling out the remarks and defending both herself and her friends.

In a strongly worded reply, she wrote: “DISRESPECT. You woke up and decided to disrespect my friends. You’re going to regret it @donaldmakhasane.”

She went on to criticise him directly, adding: “Let’s start with you young black man who is willingly going to expose your low self esteem infront of the nation coz you thought it’s cool to call women that you don’t know grannies. Focus on the dignity of your marriage and stop embarrassing your wife on public platforms.”

Unathi continued her response by taking aim at his online behaviour, writing: “The copious amounts of selfies you have posted as a MAN speaks volumes about you wanting to be seen. LOW SELF ESTEEM. Your wrist indicates that you need to take better care of yourself so focus on YOUR HEALTH😩🙄🥺.”

She ended her message by addressing the “grannies” remark, saying: “PS Those of us who do have kids have sent our eldest ones to uni to study, to build their careers and empires. We’ll let you know when we do become grannies. Personally I can’t wait…..BUT in my family education FIRST👅.”
