Predicted Orlando Pirates XI v AmaZulu: Heads must roll

Things didn’t go according to plan for Orlando Pirates vs Richards Bay. Will some heads roll before the AmaZulu clash?

Predicted Orlando Pirates XI vs Usuthu

Despite a late equaliser from Lebone Seema against Richards Bay, Orlando Pirates will certainly view that 2-2 draw as two points dropped in the title race. They now trail Sundowns by a point, but have played an extra game. Abdeslam Ouaddou is reticent about making big changes, so he could stick to the same XI that started last time out.

Chaine; Sebelebele, Seema, Sibisi, Hotto; Nemtajela, Mbatha; Moremi, Mofokeng, Appollis; Mbuthuma.

Remaining Orlando Pirates fixtures

  • Saturday, 18 April vs AmaZulu FC, Orlando Stadium – 15:00
  • Sunday, 26 April vs Kaizer Chiefs, FNB Stadium – 15:00
  • Tuesday, 5 May vs Stellenbosch FC, Athlone Stadium – 19:30
  • Saturday, 9 May vs Magesi FC, Seshego Stadium – 20:00
  • Saturday, 16 May vs Durban City, Orlando Stadium – 15:00
  • Saturday, 23 May vs Orbit College, Royal Bafokeng Stadium – 15:00

Dlamini still has a future with Orlando Pirates

According to SoccerLaduma, versatile midfielder Kabelo Dlamini still has a future at Orlando Pirates despite recent rumours suggesting otherwise. Injury issues have kept the left-footed schemer on the sidelines since November, but a return to action is in sight. Dlamini scored four times and assisted eight more in the 2024-2025 campaign for the Sea Robbers. A new deal could be in the offing for a player who is much-loved by Pirates faithful.
