The United Kingdom government has blocked Kanye West from entering the country due to his anti-Semitic comments and celebrations of Nazism.

Kanye, who is now known as Ye, submitted an application on Monday with the hopes of travelling to the UK, as he was booked to headline a summer festival. However, the government refused the request on the grounds that his presence would not be conducive to the public good.
The Wireless Festival organisers in London have now cancelled the entire event and will refund festival-goers.
As reported by BBC, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said this past Sunday that it is deeply concerning that West had been booked despite his previous anti-Semitic remarks and celebration of Nazism. He later stated that antisemitism has no place in the UK.

The Wireless Festival organisers were under mounting pressure from their own sponsors and politicians to cancel the show.
All of this comes as Kanye West released a song called “Heil Hitler” sometime last year and advertised a swastika T-shirt for sale on his website.
Although Ye has performed in the US and Mexico City this year, he was also barred from performing in Australia last July.
