Rapper Offset of Migos fame was shot in Florida on Monday evening.

The shooting happened outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

This is four years after his fellow rapper from the Migos, Takeoff, was also shot, but succumbed to his injuries in Texas.

The details of the incident are not clear yet, but Offset is reportedly stable in the hospital, says CNN.

According to The Guardian, the Seminole police department said two people were detained by police.

“The site is secure, and there is no threat to the public,” a police statement said.

“Operations continue as normal.”

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is the ex-husband of fellow rapper Cardi B. They married in a secret ceremony in September 2017 before the birth of their first daughter, Kulture. They had two more children before their split, which Cardi B confirmed in Deccember 2023.

The 34-year-old has a total of six children, namely Jordan, Kody, Kalea, Kulture, Wave, and Blossom.
