Mampintsha sets the record straight after fall out with his mom & sister

After the newest feud between Mampintsha, Babes Wodumo, and Mampintsha’s mother Zama Gumede. The trio appears to be moving in a different direction for the betterment of the entire family and all parties involved.

The drama between musician and reality TV star Babes Wodumo, her husband, and baby daddy Mampintsha together with her mother Zama Gumede seems to have reached a new height recently. This comes after when Mampintsha’s mother together with her daughter and Mampintsha’s sister did an interview with the newspaper and they lambasted both Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo.

Some of the things that Mampintsha’s mother and sister conveyed in their interview was the ongoing issue of the payments for their appearances on both Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo’s reality show Uthando Lodumo. Both Mampintsha’s mother and sister have complained numerous times in the past of not being paid even for their appearances on season 1 of the show.

Currently, the show is shooting its season 2 and Mampintsha’s mother and sister have again been shooting for the show but till today they have not been remunerated for their appearances.

In an interview with Ukhozi FM’s Sipho ‘Sgqemeza’ Mbatha and Mromza Buthelezi on the breakfast show, both Mampintsha and his mother went head-to-head while trying to iron out their differences. While Mampintsha’s mother was very vocal and forthcoming with some of her grievances, where she mentioned that the biggest elephant in the room is the issue of not being paid for their appearances of Uthando Lodumo.

Meanwhile, Mampintsha kept emphasizing that their show producer as well as the company shooting the show doesn’t pay monthly. At every turn, Mampintsha can be heard saying that the payments are not on a month-to-month basis. Whereas Mampintsha’s mother Zama Gumede was very adamant that both her and Mampintsha’s sister were never paid even for their appearances on season 1 of Uthando Lodumo.

When Mampintsha’s mother was asked if she was willing to reconcile with her son and makoti, Babes Wodumo. Zama Gumede was very adamant that the only thing she requires more than anything is the respect that she deserves as an adult as well as being taken care of financially. She went on to mention that Mampintsha is her only support structure and since he has cut the financial streaming from flowing, she has been living off her grant at home.

On a lighter note, following Mampintsha’s mother upcoming birthday right on the 26th June, Mampintsha has promised to celebrate his mother’s birthday. Both Mromza Buthelezi and Sipho ‘Sgqemeza’ Mbatha have started collecting from all the good Samaritans who has offered their hand in making Mampintsha’s mom’s birthday a day to remember.

Also, on the 27th June is both Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo’s child, Sponge’s birthday. Mampintsha’s mom profusely asked to be invited to celebrate her grandson’s festivities with the entire family. And by the look of things, she will be in attendance as both her and Mampintsha agreed to work on their relationship for the betterment of the entire family and more especially Sponge.
