Naledi Aphiwe announces management split amid recent confusion

Rising South African singer Naledi Aphiwe has officially addressed growing speculation surrounding her management, confirming a major change in her team.

Taking to social media on Friday, the young star shared a formal statement announcing that she is no longer working with her former manager, Londiwe Mcwabe.

The announcement follows weeks of uncertainty and online chatter about her professional setup.

In her statement, Naledi clarified the situation while choosing to keep certain matters private.

She wrote: “I would like to formally address a recent change regarding my management team. After careful consideration, I would like to confirm that I am no longer working with Londiwe Mcwabe. This decision follows a series of events that have taken place over the past few weeks.”

While acknowledging the curiosity around the split, the singer emphasized that not all details would be made public out of respect for those involved.

She also made it clear that her former manager is no longer connected to her brand in any capacity.

“Moving forward, I kindly ask that any communication regarding my work including bookings, collaborations, brands and public relations be directed to me or my current management team only. Londiwe Mcwabe is no longer affiliated with my brand or professional activities, and she is not authorized to represent me in any capacity,” she added.

Naledi accompanied the statement with a reflective caption, hinting at personal growth and a new chapter ahead.

“Sometimes stepping away is necessary for growth and peace of mind. I’m choosing alignment, clarity, and a team that reflects where I’m going. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and respect my journey it truly means everything,” she wrote.
