Orlando Pirates vs Kaizer Chiefs Soweto derby tickets on sale

Tickets for the second and final Soweto derby of the 2025/26 season between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are now on sale, with high demand expected for one of South African football’s biggest fixtures.

The first-round clash in February – which was won 3-0 by Orlando Pirates – sold out in record time, with tickets disappearing within hours.

A similar rush is anticipated for the return fixture as fans prepare for another electric showdown between the fierce rivals.

Historic Rivalry Continues

The upcoming encounter will mark the 185th official meeting between Amakhosi and the Sea Robbers, continuing one of the most iconic rivalries in African football.

The match has been rescheduled to Sunday, 26 April at FNB Stadium, instead of the initially planned Saturday date due to logistical considerations around the Nasrec precinct.

The new date is also expected to benefit travelling supporters, with Monday, 27 April, being a public holiday as South Africa celebrates Freedom Day.

FNB Stadium Set for Another Packed Crowd

When the two sides last met in February, Kaizer Chiefs supporters filled the FNB Stadium in gold and black, creating a vibrant and intimidating atmosphere.

Organisers expect another packed crowd as fans once again turn the iconic venue into a sea of colour and noise for the highly anticipated derby.

Ticket Information

Tickets are available exclusively online via the My Ticket app or at www.myticket.co.za.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • Level 1 and Level 5: R120
  • Level 2: R170

Parking tickets will also be available on the app for R50, with organisers confirming that no vehicles will be allowed into the FNB Stadium and Nasrec precinct without a valid parking ticket.

Suite tickets can be purchased through Sail.

The much-anticipated clash is scheduled to kick off at 15:00.
