Duties and responsibilities
• Liaison with Sibanye Stillwater for account payable enquiries
• Liaison with internal requestors for supplies to ensure optimum specification/description of explosives
• Liaison with contracts buyers to ensure standardization
• Accurately input information onto systems
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets
• Implement effective ordering & receiving administration systems according to explosives act.
• Keep accurate ordering & receiving information records
• Analyse reports and data for accuracy – receiving
• Ensure high standard of housekeeping – every 6 months with Inspector
• Safe data capturing with daily backup
• Participate in required meetings including safety
Qualifications and experience
• Be in possession of NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
• Have a Magazine Masters certificate
• Have At least 3 years’ experience within a materials management or warehouse environment.
• Complete daily risk assessments
• Have Computer skills (MS Office and Symplexity).
• Have Good communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Be willing to work overtime on an ad-hoc basis
• Exhibit good written and oral skills (English)
• Be literate in ERP system
• Effectively report on safety operational requirements
• Have a Clear security screening record
• Have a Clear credit record
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
