The girl of the moment, Liema Pantsi, opened up about her experience on Big Brother Mzansi season six, and she talked about her plans for the R2 million prize money.

In an exclusive interview with Sowetan, the Eastern Cape-born star said her money will go into various areas of her life, including playing her part in uplifting the community, especially young women, through her foundation.

The article also reported that Liema plans to travel the world and that renovating her grandmother’s house is on the cards.

When asked about what her plans are, Liema, who gained over 20K followers on Instagram post winning, shared the following:

“I’m coming for everything. My priority right now is my foundation. I want to be a UN ambassador, travel the world, help people, and make a positive impact. I hope to work with more brands, release new music, and explore acting,” said Liema.

The incredibly talented Liema bet on herself when she returned to compete for the grand prize. Lo and behold, she successfully made it to the finish line and won!

This comes after her bold and voluntary exit on season 4, when Big Brother offered the housemates the choice to either leave the show early with a prize of R250 000 or to stick it out until the end. Liema chose the former.

When questioned about why she wanted to participate in the reality show once again, she replied as follows:

“I didn’t have nice memories in my previous season. I didn’t even make real connections. So, I wanted to go back for redemption to play differently, enjoy myself, and make genuine connections. I wanted to finish the race strongly,” said Liema.

“People were talking about the possibility of me winning, so I wanted to prove it could happen. Also, after leaving season four with R250,000, I wanted to complete my story and show I could go all the way,” said Liema.

A THRIVING MUSIC CAREER

In 2025, the Let Me Be singer was recognised at the Basadi Women in Music Awards, where she won both the SAMRO Songwriter of the Year and Collaboration of the Year awards for her song with Cici titled Impumelelo.

Her EP Bells ‘N Whistles was a resounding success, solidifying her as a musician to look out for.
