Springbok Elrigh Louw’s officially tied the knot to long-time partner Mirinthea Bezuidenhout in Stellenbosch in February.

INSIDE ELRIGH LOUW’S FAIRYTALE WEDDING

Rugby player Elrigh Louw and Mirinthea Bezuidenhout got married in the scenic Bona Bona Game Lodge on 14 February. The pair have been dating for six years before tying the knot on Valentine’s Day.

The pair reportedly met through mutual friends. Elrigh popped the big question in October 2025.

“Genuinely excited to spend the rest of my life with you 💍🤍 you’re my very best friend, the very best part of me, and the love of my life,” she wrote at the time.

WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE RUGBY STAR

Elrigh Louw plays for The Bulls in the United Rugby Championship and the Blue Bulls in the Currie Cup. His rugby journey began at Hoërskool Transvalia, where he played for the school’s rugby team. He was born on 20 September 1999. So, he is 26 years old. Elrigh was born in Pretoria, but he grew up in the Western Cape.

The rugby star also plays golf.

“I took up golf too late! What I love about it is even if you hit a bad shot, you are excited to see if you can improve with the next one. It is also lekker, quite social. Something I can enjoy with friends and family,” he said exclusively to The South African.

He also expressed that he wants to have an impact on little boys and girls.

“I want to win many trophies in a Bulls jersey. But it is about more than being a good player. When I was younger, Victor Matfield stopped and let me get a photo with him. That was very special for me. I would like to have that same impact on a little boys and girls who are fans of the Bulls.”
