AmaZulu Complete Seventh Signing – iDiski Times

Published

on

As reported last month by iDiski Times a highly-rated Zambian international midfielder is set to sign for AmaZulu.

Last month Lorenz Köhler reported that 26-year-old Larry Bwalya was set to join Usuthu from Simba in Tanzania.

Bwalya had previously been linked to Kaizer Chiefs, but at the time Simba had put up a not-for-sale sign, as they had only recently sold Luis Miquissone to Al Ahly.

While Bwalya’s move to Usuthu was disputed at the time, iDiski Times can confirm he’s officially secured a transfer to the ambitious DStv Premiership side.

AmaZulu have already confirmed six signings, and have said they would be signing two more, believed to be Bwalya and Ethan Brooks, while they are also considering another defensive midfielder who turned out in the Romanian top-flight last season.

Earlier in the day, it was reported in Tanzania that he had played his last game for Simba and this publication has been informed he will officially arrive in South Africa on 1 July.
