Tyla is back with a bang as she has just released her new EP, We Wanna Party.

The Water hitmaker delivered a bold fusion of Amapiano and dancehall on her new song Mr Media, and what really caught fans’ attention is her surprising nod to Amapiano star Leemackrazy.

Tyla cleverly sampled his signature producer tag, a move many saw as a respectful homage to her South African roots.

Since its release, the four-track project has been on high rotation, with fans praising Tyla’s unique blend of dancehall vibes and her now signature “Popiano” sound.

The EP also features a collaboration with Nigerian superstar Wizkid—an addition that’s sent her fanbase into a frenzy.

Speaking about the project, Tyla previously shared that the title We Wanna Party was inspired by a well-known South African party chant, adding another layer of cultural authenticity to her global sound.

The song takes direct aim at tabloids and online critics who’ve targeted her since she shot to stardom.
