Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi-Bolowana is celebrating a year of wedded bliss with her husband, Luthando Bolowana, and she couldn’t be more sentimental. “If I had to choose, I’d choose you all over again,” she wrote on Instagram, accompanying a beautiful video montage of their Paarl wedding on March 22, 2025.

A star-studded celebration

The video offers fans a glimpse into the couple’s intimate yet glamorous day at the Belair Pavilion, Western Cape, capturing moments from walking down the aisle, exchanging vows, to dancing the night away with close friends and family. Set to Savy Henry’s “The Best Part of You”, the footage radiates joy and love.

Celebrities in attendance included actress Nomzamo Mbatha (Nxumalo), media personality Anele Mdoda-Mgudlwa, and stars Connie Ferguson and Ama Qamata, adding extra sparkle to the day.

South African wedding specialist Zavion Kotze-Brereton orchestrated the elegant affair, while Tunzi-Bolowana stunned in a Pret-a-Couture gown designed by Phan Huy, perfectly blending modern elegance with romantic flair.

Love in the little things

Beyond the wedding, Tunzi-Bolowana continues to share tender moments with Bolowana. For his birthday, she posted a playful clip showcasing her marquise-cut white gold diamond ring, affectionately noting their thumb war battles: “The warmest hand to hold and one that never lets me win at thumb wars… Life is all the more beautiful with you in it. I love you. ❤️”

Fans have been captivated by both the romance and the sheer size of her engagement ring, which has sparked admiration and a flurry of comments across social media.

A love to last a lifetime

With their first anniversary celebrated in heartfelt style, Tunzi-Bolowana and Bolowana continue to show that love and laughter remain at the center of their relationship. As she wrote: “One beautiful year! A million lifetimes to go 🥹♥️.”

Their story reminds South Africans that even amidst fame and glamour, genuine love and joy can shine brightest in the everyday moments.
