South African stars join action-comedy ‘Boyz Trip’

South African actors are stepping into the global spotlight as they join the exciting new action-comedy Boyz Trip, currently filming in Cape Town.

The film continues to build an impressive international cast, blending local talent with global stars for a high-energy story set against a worldwide backdrop.

LOCAL STARS JOIN ‘BOYZ TRIP’

Actors Ama Qamata – who also recently starred in a different international movie – Thapelo Mokoena, and Bohang Moeko and Suare among the South African stars joining the film. They are joined by Ama K. Abebrese, Alessandra Fuller, and Francisca Aronsson.

The cast also includes international names such as Rome Flynn, Algee Smith and Desi Banks.

FILMING TAKES PLACE IN CAPE TOWN

The movie is currently being shot in Cape Town, adding a vibrant and scenic backdrop to the story. The city continues to attract major film productions thanks to its diverse locations and growing film industry.

‘BOYZ TRIP’ A STORY OF FRIENDSHIP AND CHAOS

Boyz Trip follows four college friends who decide to take a break from their everyday lives with a getaway trip. However, what begins as a fun escape quickly turns into international chaos.

The group is forced to rely on their friendship, instincts, and a bit of luck to survive unexpected challenges. The film promises a mix of action and comedy, with themes of brotherhood and unpredictability at its core.

CAST SHARES THEIR EXCITEMENT ABOUT ‘BOYZ TRIP’

Taking to Instagram, Thapelo Mokoena expressed his gratitude and excitement about joining the project.

Meanwhile, Bohang Moeko also shared his excitement, saying: “We making a movie!! So excited to be a part of this, and to be working with an incredible group of people.”

A GLOBAL VISION FOR THE FILM

The film is written and directed by Kyle Scott, who also serves as an executive producer through KeyScott Entertainment alongside Canyon View Media.

Speaking about the project, Scott highlighted the film’s global ambition, describing it as “an incredible opportunity to unite a diverse international cast and create something truly special together”.
