R800k watch? Sizwe Dhlomo steals spotlight at Black Coffee’s 50th

Radio personality Sizwe Dhlomo had social media abuzz after he was spotted wearing a Patek timepiece at DJ Black Coffee’s 50th birthday celebrations in Cape Town.

SIZWE DHLOMO’S LAVISH WATCH SETS TONGUES WAGGING

Durban-born Sizwe Dhlomo set tongues wagging on X, formerly known as Twitter, after he was spotted wearing a Patek timepiece estimated at around R800 000 at Black Coffee’s 50th birthday celebration in Cape Town.

X users admired the radio personality’s Patek Philippe Calatrava 5224R Travel Time Rose Gold Blue watch. A popular X user, who goes by ChrisExcel tweeted that Sizwe Dhlomo was wearing a Golf 8.5 GTI (estimated at around R800 000).

The radio personality took to the comment’s section correcting the X user saying the numbers are wrong.

Sizwe went on to explain that those numbers are for second hand watches.

“Yo… what are you doing!? Take this down! Lol! Also, your numbers are wrong,” he wrote.

“Yeah, those are numbers for second-hand,” he wrote.

INSIDE BLACK COFFEE’S 50TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

DJ Black Coffee turned 50 on 11 March and celebrated his milestone birthday with a three-day event in Cape Town over the past weekend. As previously reported by The South African, the three-day event included an intimate dinner at his villa in Clifton. This followed by a star-studded black-tie dinner at the Beau Constantia winery in Cape Town. 

The celebrations also included a party at The Bungalow. Black Coffee and his girlfriend, Victoria Gonzalez both shared photos from the birthday celebrations on Instagram. Take a look…

She also penned a short and sweet birthday tribute to him on his 50th, sharing several memories in an Instagram album post.

“Happy birthday to my love and my best friend ♥️. Ps: My favorite part of life is watching you sleep♥️,” she wrote.
