Former Idols SA star Mthokozisi Ndaba

Former Idols SA contestant Mthokozisi Ndaba has left fans stunned after revealing how quickly his life has unravelled, with the singer now trying to rebuild after a series of personal and financial setbacks.

In an emotional conversation with TimesLive, Ndaba shared that everything he once relied on; his home, marriage, and career stability, has fallen apart in a short space of time.

What started as personal struggles soon spiralled into legal trouble, after a heated altercation with his cousin led to his arrest.

Although he was later released on R500 bail, the matter is still ongoing, with another court appearance ahead.

Away from the legal issues, his personal life has also taken a heavy hit.

Ndaba disclosed that his marriage has broken down completely, with divorce now looming.

At the same time, financial strain forced him out of his home after he fell behind on rent, leaving him without a stable place to stay.

The reality he now faces is a far cry from the life many associated with him during his rise to fame.

Ndaba admitted he is currently living in a shack, trying to piece his life back together from the ground up.

With no steady income, the situation has been made worse by claims that he is still owed money for past performances, accusing some promoters of failing to pay him.

Despite everything, the singer remains hopeful.

Leaning on faith, he says he is determined to find his footing again and rebuild what has been lost, step by step.
