Things You Did Not Know About The Toothpaste Color Codes

Have you ever noticed that your favorite tibe of toothpaste has a color coded dot at the end? No? Ok. Check out below image.

Your favorite colgate has four different colors namely Black, Green, Red and Blue. Many people have not stopped to wonder what each code means. You could be buying the wrong color code for your teeth altogether.

A Twitter user posted on their timeline what each code means, leaving many people shocked and in disbelief.

Another user on Twitter chipped in with a word from Colgate :

According to @Colgate “They actually help in the manufacturing of the toothpaste tubes by telling light sensors where the end of the tube is so that it can be cut and sealed properly.” Now i know what they really mean.

A quick search on the colgate website however revealed that this is all a myth. According to colgate, the reality of the color codes is :
