In an Instagram Story posted on Sunday, 15 March, Zama Duma amusingly watched her husband Lucky “SomK” Gumbi prepare uphuthu (krummel pap) in their kitchen.

SOMK MAKES UPHUTHU

In a world where cooking skills are an essential factor for some men seeking wives, SomK is clearly an exception, as his third wife, Zama Duma is cruising nicely at their home.

Our homegirl wrote that on their first date, she admitted to SomK, who’s also taking care of his grandson, that she simply can’t cook.

What followed was a gentle response that many women would appreciate, as SomK assured Zama that he was not expecting her to slave endlessly in the kitchen.

The screenshot below includes Zama’s caption explaining how her husband stepped in since she is unable to cook uphuthu.

“He forgot that the first day I met him, I told him I couldn’t cook, and he said I shouldn’t worry because he’s not marrying me to be a slave.“

“Now he has to cook, because I can’t cook uphuthu.”

ZAMA DUMA IN HER SOFT GIRL ERA

The 23-year-old Zama often treats her TikTok followers to snippets of her glamorous life, including glimpses of her stunning home decor at the Gumbi rural homestead in Mtubatuba, KwaZulu-Natal.

Their wedding hogged the public’s interest as it had all the makings of a fairy tale. In her wedding speech, Zama disclosed that SomK asked for her hand in marriage just seven days after they met.
