Russell Wilson takes son Future to his first college visit

Football star Russell Wilson was in dad mode this past week when he took Future on his first college visit.

The pre-teen is Wilson’s wife, singer Ciara’s son from her relationship with rapper Future, but the rapper has never played a significant role in his life.

Ciara and Wilson met when Future was less than a year old, making Wilson the father he is closest to.

The two are often seen doing father/son activities.

They took this important trip together, as Future starts exploring his options as he starts getting ready to step into college life soon.

Rapper Future reportedly has six other children from different mothers.

Ciara famously skipped Future’s name when she did nomination announcements for the Billboard Music Awards‘ Top Rap Artist category on Good Morning America in 2016, signalling her disdain for the rapper.

She has not elaborated on what her relationship with the father of her firstborn is like, choosing rather to focus on her and her husband’s relationship.

They are often listed among the couples with staying power in sports and entertainment.

The couple has four children together, with Future Zahir as the oldest at 11, followed by Sienna Princess (8), Win Harrison (5), and Amora Princess (1).
