ā€œIt’s because my children share the same surname as me and travelling with them, because they are brown, it’s already a big challenge,ā€ revealed Rachel.

The philanthropist and author added that already there are persistent questions when she is travelling with her kids, changing her surname would make travel even more complicated.

ā€œSometimes I get stopped at gates, and people want to double-check certain things, so it would be a really big challenge for me, so I’m keeping my surname,ā€ she said.

ā€œIt’s also just the amount of times I’ve been asked, ā€˜Are those your kids?’, and I’m just, like, ā€˜Yes they are my kids’, and so if I change my surname, it’s going to be just as challenging.ā€
