Sjava agrees to collaborate with Anthony Hamilton

American soul star Anthony Hamilton has sparked excitement among fans after proposing a musical collaboration with South African artist Sjava.

The moment reportedly happened during Hamilton’s late-February concert in Durban, where the Grammy-winning singer hinted at working with the award-winning musician.

A circulating video on social media shows Hamilton and Sjava greeting each other warmly backstage before sharing compliments about one another’s music.

During the friendly exchange, Hamilton suggested that the two should work together on a song.

“Let’s do a song,” Hamilton said, proposing the collaboration.

Sjava appeared open to the idea and agreed to the suggestion, further fueling excitement among fans who are eager to hear what the two musicians could create together.

Hamilton is no stranger to working with South African talent.

Over the years, the American singer has collaborated with several local stars, including Vusi Nova, Zonke and Amanda Black.

Fans believe a collaboration with Sjava could result in a powerful fusion of Hamilton’s signature soul sound and Sjava’s distinctive Afro-soul style rooted in African storytelling.

While no official details about the project have been announced yet, the brief interaction has already stirred anticipation online, with many hoping the two artists will turn the idea into a full-fledged song soon.
