Big Zulu and Mduduzi Ncube

Big Zulu has confirmed that singer and songwriter Mduduzi Ncube is no longer part of Inkabi Records, putting an end to speculation about the artist’s future with the label.

In a statement addressing the situation, the record label explained that Ncube’s departure followed the conclusion of his contract.

With that chapter now closed, the musician has chosen to pursue his career independently and explore new opportunities within the music industry.

According to the label, the move allows Ncube to expand his creative and business ambitions, which include establishing his own record label and stepping into broader roles as both an artist and industry executive.

Inkabi Records acknowledged the end of its working relationship with the vocalist while recognising the next phase of his career.

The label also took the opportunity to address ongoing speculation surrounding fellow musician Musiholiq.

In its clarification, Inkabi Records stated that Musiholiq was never officially signed as an artist under the label.
