DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

Vodacom is offering an internship programme as part of its Early Career Initiative. The Discover Graduate Programme is a permanent employment opportunity that consists of a 2-year training programme designed to foster future leaders.

The programme will officially commence on 1 February 2023 and will offer graduates complete exposure to the work environment of Vodacom. After the 2-year mark, candidates will then move into a destination role within the company and have the opportunity to apply for an international assignment through Vodacom Discover.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must have completed or will complete your Undergraduate Degree/ Degree/ equivalent by the end of 2022:
  • Bachelors Degree (BCom/ BSc/ B-Tech)/ NQF7 (minimum qualification)
  • 3-year National Diploma (NQF-6) in any of these fields: Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology
• Must have a minimum aggregate of 65% for most completed/ recent academic results
• Must have no less than 2-years work experience (post studies)
• Must be no older than 26 years old
• Must be up-to-date with the latest digital technology
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must be innovative
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be passionate
• Must be flexible
• Must be resilient
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills
