Kabelo Nyathi to walk 60 KM to raise 250 000 sanitary towels

WALK FOR THEM is an initiative that is looking at helping to keep girls in school. Kabelo Nyathi will be taking a walk from Germiston  to Pretoria Cbd on the 14th of June this year.

The distance is approximately  60km and about 14 to 15 hours walk.

“This walk will not be easy but worth it. My main aim is to collect 250 000 Sanitary towels which will be distributed in 70 schools around the Ekurhuleni Region and 20000 girls will benefits from this initiative with each  girl child  getting 15 packets of sanitary towels which would help them for 6 to 7 months,” said Kabelo Nyathi

He further stated that “I’m working together with Batho Pele Youth Foundation Based In GreenField South Of Alberton. I’m pleading with the community at large to kindly assist me in making this dream a reality.,” He said.
