Brand influencer Amanda Jingela’s new sleek hairdo an ode to late mother

KwaZulu-Natal-born influencer Amanda Jingela showcased a new short hairstyle in remembrance of her deceased mother, who died in Durban a decade ago.

TEN YEARS SINCE AMANDA’S MOM PASSED ON 

The year 2026 marks 10 years since the passing of Amanda’s mother, Busisiwe Jingela. The 33-year-old stunner shared on Instagram that she cut off her long and rich hair to welcome a new hairdo as she marked the life and memory of her mother.

According to Amanda’s followers, her mother’s influence not only impacted her family but also those she crossed paths with. One remembered her as an outstanding teacher at Zwelethu High School in Durban, while another remarked on her kindness and ravishing beauty.

One thing about Amanda, she will cherish her mom. In 2020, she shared a photo of herself sporting a bob cut where she embodied her mother.

The Bachelor of Environmental Science graduate from the University of KwaZulu-Natal was in a public relationship with hip hop artist and radio personality, Lusaso Ngcobo, from DreamTeam. Together, they are parents to a beautiful daughter named Lunamo Zoya Ngcobo.
