Gavin Hunt’s struggling Stellenbosch FC take on Kaizer Chiefs again on Tuesday at FNB Stadium at 19:30, just 20 days after Stellies’ 2-1 win in the Nedbank Cup last 32 in Cape Town.

Kaizer Chiefs have been under pressure since the disappointing 2-1 loss to Zamalek SC that ended their CAF Confederation Cup campaign in the group stages.

BOTH KAIZER CHIEFS AND STELLENBOSCH DESPERATE FOR A WIN

The visiting Maroons have not won a match since their victory over Amakhosi on 4 February. They have lost twice and drawn two in their last four outings.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs, having missed out on Carling Knockout, Nedbank Cup and CAF Confederation Cup glory, now have the Betway Premiership as their final shot at silverware this season.

How will co-coaches Khalil Ben Yousseff and Cedric Kaze set up their team against a Stellenbosch FC side sitting just two points above the relegation zone?

Meanwhile, Amakhosi co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef has confirmed the latest team news. Nigerian striker Etiosa Ighodaro and Reeve Frosler have been ruled out through injury.

Additionally, the Tunisian suggested that Ethan Chislett and Nkanyiso Shinga could make their debuts, most likely from the bench.

As far as Stellies, Hunt is said to be sweating over the fitness of former Orlando Pirates stars Olisa Ndah and Tshegofatso Mabasa.

EXPECTED AMAKHOSI LINE-UP

Brandon Petersen; Dillan Solomons, Zitha Kwinika, Aden McCarthy, Paseka Mako; Lebohang Maboe, Siphesihle Ndlovu; Glody Lilepo, Pule Mmodi, Mduduzi Shabalala; Flavio Da Silva.

With Sekhukhune United, third position, playing on Sunday against Sundowns, a win for Kaizer Chiefs will lift Amakhosi to third spot and five points behind leaders Orlando Pirates.
