Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has lost over 10 million Instagram followers after her husband, rapper Jay Z, was linked to disgraced New York financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, was mentioned in a tip to the FBI which was archived as part of the Epstein investigation.

In her tip, the anonymous woman said convicted sex offender, film producer Harvey Weinstein and Carter were allegedly present when she woke up from an incident that she could not remember due to what she suspects was her being drugged.

The same complainant said that rapper Pusher T (real name Terrence LeVarr Thornton) was her handler.

Following the latest release from the Epstein files (3 million documents, 2,000 videos and about 180,000 images), Beyoncé’s Instagram following, which stood at 318 million, plummeted to 307 million.

Beyoncé (44) and Jay Z (56) have been married since 2008 and have three children together: Blue Ivy, and twins Sir and Rumi.

She came up in the music industry with the introduction of girl group Destiny’s Child in 1990.

Beyoncé later went solo, releasing eight studio albums, the latest of which is the country album, Cowboy Carter, in 2024.

She has also starred in films like Pink Panther, Obssessed and The Fighting Temptations.

Jay Z is no slouch in rap either, having released 13 studio albums.

The couple are said to be billionaires, with Beyoncé recently joining the exclusive billionaire musicians club.
