Sizwe Dhlomo gives fans a peek into his farming business

Sizwe Dhlomo has given social media another rare glimpse into his private life after sharing a video from his ranch.

The renowned broadcaster posted the clip on X (formerly Twitter), shifting the spotlight from his media career to his life as a farmer.

Captioning the video, Dhlomo wrote: “Meanwhile… back at the ranch…”, as rows of cattle moved across the land in the background.

While Dhlomo is often described as one of South Africa’s wealthiest broadcasters, he has generally kept details of his finances and investments out of the public eye.

From time to time, however, he offers followers subtle insights into how he has diversified his income beyond radio and television.

Following the post, Dhlomo engaged with users who questioned him about his business interests.

He took the opportunity to speak openly about ventures he is involved in, while firmly shutting down speculation about at least one business he says he has no stake in.

When the conversation shifted to politics and calls for him to donate to a political party, Dhlomo brushed off the requests and revealed that, impressive as his herd may be, there is a well-known public figure who owns even more cattle than he does.
