Springboks captain Siya Kolisi has added another major milestone to his off-field career after securing a high-profile ambassadorial deal with retail giant Pick n Pay.

The partnership was officially announced on Thursday with Pick n Pay unveiling Kolisi as its newest brand ambassador.

The move comes at a time when the retailer is significantly expanding its presence in the sport, following its elevation to a Tier 1 sponsor of SA Rugby.

Pick n Pay first entered the rugby sponsorship space in 2025 when it became the Springboks’ official grocery partner under a four-year agreement.

Since then, the company’s role has steadily grown, culminating in its branding now appearing on Springbok jerseys after the expiry of MTN’s long-standing sponsorship deal.

Beyond commercial visibility, the collaboration is positioned as a values-driven partnership.

Pick n Pay has highlighted a strong focus on community upliftment, with Kolisi’s leadership and social impact aligning closely with the retailer’s long-term investment in development initiatives across the country.
