Lynn Forbes remembers late son on his 38th birthday

On what would have been rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes’ 38th birthday, Lynn Forbes shared an emotional tribute to the late artist, recalling the many moments they shared together.

In her post, Forbes described the highs and lows of their time together but said she now chooses to focus on the joyful memories.

She fondly remembered AKA’s laugh, their conversations, and his excitement whenever he had a new idea.

“Some part of you always remained a little boy,” she wrote, reflecting on the playful and tender side of the rapper.

Forbes highlighted the everyday moments that she now misses deeply: his voice calling her “maaaa,” their phone calls, lunch dates, and time spent watching shows like Dexter or Somebody Feed Phil.

She also mentioned the little quirks that made their life together special, such as the way he ate ice lollies and chewed loudly.

She recalled the routine of packing her bags to stay with him during their son Kairo’s visits, saying she never expected to miss such small acts of care.

She concluded by saying she carries all of these memories with her, treasuring every version of AKA she was lucky to know. “Always in my heart,” Forbes wrote.
