Anele Mgudlwa’s son Alakhe is impressed with her baking skills

“Damn!” That’s the one-word response from Alakhe when he tasted how good the cinnamon buns baked by his mother, Anele Mgudlwa’s, were.

Mgudlwa posted the funny video, not only to show her skills in the kitchen, but to show Alakhe’s reaction.

In the video, Anele tastes the first bun while dancing, then offers one to Alakhe, who steps back as he tastes the freshly baked pastry before exclaiming.

The youngster looks to be fresh from a school sports activity, and he probably worked up a good appetite.

In the video, Anele is in all her makoti glory, wearing traditional makoti apparel after she recently married her childhood friend in a secret ceremony in Cape Town.

The radio host is married to Xhosa prince Bonelela ‘Buzza’ James Mgudlwa.

Bonelela is a Xhosa prince Anele grew up with before the two led separate lives, only to spark up a romance decades later.

Alakhe is Anele’s son with her former partner, Thandile.
