Kristy Scott’s first grocery shopping trip since split from Desmond

Kristy Scott is venturing into unfamiliar territory after splitting from Scott, her husband of over ten years: she is grocery shopping for the first time since filing for divorce.

And not to let an unexpected life pivot put her off her game, Kristy did her shopping in style, wearing a black-and-white feather top over a black satin dress and a slick new hairdo.

While pushing the cart through the store, Kristy looks nervous and out of sorts. Desmond was the chef of the family, as he is also professionally, so this new single life signals an opportunity for Kristy to expand her culinary skills.

“So this is my first time shopping with this new unexpected chapter,” she says as the video starts.

“I’m literally shaking,” Kristy held out her shivering hand.

“… I’m going to be visiting their fresh food section so I can get some dinner, cos a girl does not know how to cook at all,” Kristy continues.

Just then, a fan interrupts her, and she shyly greets them.

“The amount of people I’ve ran into… I just want to thank you guys for being such a good support system for me,” she exhales loudly.

“I don’t wanna get emotional,” she says.

“… I think I’m just gonna take advantage of learning who I am even more, and what I like… doing the best I can for the boys.”

The couple split after more than a decade of marriage and two sons, after Scott was allegedly caught cheating.

He later apologised to Kristy on social media but stated that he had been wanting to exit the marriage.
