Gugu Gumede buys a new car

Gugu Gumede has marked a major personal milestone after sharing a video of herself at a BMW dealership, where she excitedly walked in to view her new car.

The actress posted the clip on social media, pairing it with a deeply reflective caption centred on faith, gratitude, and personal growth.

In her message, Gumede credited God for carrying her through 2025, describing the year as one filled with “grace upon grace.”

She noted that the blessings she experienced were so profound that many would hardly believe her if she shared the full extent of what unfolded in her life.

Looking ahead to 2026, she expressed a desire to continue seeking God first, while reminding followers that material possessions do not define one’s worth.

While celebrating the new car, Gumede emphasised that faith remains her highest priority, stating that spiritual grounding matters more than any earthly achievement.

She also gave a special shout-out to car dealer Mongezi Tembe, revealing that their professional relationship dates back nearly 13 years and praising his consistency and excellence.

The actress added that she had already spent three months with the BMW, affectionately referring to it as “this beast.”

The moment was also emotional, as Gumede reflected on her late mother, sharing that she wished she were still alive to witness and celebrate the milestone with her.

She ended her message by wishing her followers a blessed 2026, prompting an outpouring of congratulatory messages and words of encouragement from fans and industry peers.
