Chymamusique shows support to Athini Bashe amidst breakup with fiancé Ntandokazi

South African DJ and producer Chymamusique has stepped in with a public show of support for social media personality Athini Bashe following his highly publicised breakup with former fiancée Ntandokazi Mzamo.

The split between the once-adored online couple continues to dominate conversations on social media, especially after a viral video showed Bashe in visible distress on the side of a road in Bryanston.

The clip, which surfaced on X earlier this week, was reportedly recorded by a passing motorist and showed Bashe crying beside his parked car, shirtless, before paramedics arrived and escorted him away in an ambulance.

The footage quickly fuelled speculation about Bashe’s emotional state and intensified curiosity around what may have led to the sudden collapse of his relationship with Mzamo.

While the exact cause of their breakup remains unclear, the public reaction has been swift and divided, with many expressing concern for Bashe’s wellbeing.

Rather than weighing in with opinions, Chymamusique chose to offer help.

Taking to X on Thursday, 22 January, the musician extended an open invitation to Bashe, offering him access to professional support and a safe space for healing.

“If anyone knows BASH personally, please connect us with him. We would like to offer him tickets to ECUE MEN’S CAMP 5.0 and fully paid therapy to help him recover,” Chymamusique wrote.

The DJ’s gesture drew mixed reactions from social media users. Some praised him for promoting mental health awareness among men, while others were more cynical about the situation, questioning whether the breakup would truly be permanent.

One user commented humorously, “She will say sorry, and he will go back to her.”

Another wrote, “Lol, we know Bash personally and live with him in the Estate…he doesn’t need ANY of the things you’re offering. You people are having a nice time over FALSE NEWS.”

If anyone knows BASH personally please connect us with him , we would like to offer him tickets to ECUE MENS CAMP 5.0 & fully paid therapy to help him recover.
