Amor Vittone’s new partner, Marius van Biljon, has spoken about moving on from the death of his wife, beauty queen Shannon van Biljon, less than a year ago.

AMOR VITTONE’S NEW MAN TALKS ROMANCE AFTER WIFE’S DEATH

Speaking to Jacaranda FM this week, Amor Vittone’s partner Marius van Biljon lifted the lid on his new romance, as well as moving on from the death of his wife.

Shannon, a former Mrs Tshwane, died in July 2025 after the onset of kidney failure.

Marius – who began courting Amor in November – said of his new chapter: “Everybody grieves differently. I am strong in the Lord, and he helped me get through the process.”

The silver-haired businessman was upfront with Amor about his priorities, including his relationship with God and celebrating his late wife’s legacy.

He continued: “I don’t have time to waste. You have to be honest and vulnerable.

“We [Amor and I] have a lot in common; we’ve both gone through losses. Because she [Shannon] was a powerhouse woman, I needed another powerhouse woman

Amor Vittone agreed with her partner’s stance, praising him as “strong, grounded and having a beautiful spirit”.

LOVE AFTER LOSS

Marius van Biljon’s romance with Amor Vittone comes less than six months after the death of his spouse. Amor has also lost a spouse, her late husband, rugby player Joost van der Westhuizen, who died in 2017 after a battle with motor neurone disease.

In 2022, the now 53-year-old  dated another widower, plastic surgeon Charles Serrurier. He has since married businesswoman Jess Clarke.
