Veteran broadcaster Penny Lebyane is set to make a highly anticipated return to SABC2 after being announced as the host of the channel’s new daily talk show, Eintlik Let’s Connect, which premieres on February 9.
The upcoming programme is designed as a platform for open, honest conversations and compelling storytelling, with the aim of bringing together South Africans from diverse backgrounds through shared experiences and meaningful dialogue.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Penny described the opportunity as a defining moment in her career, calling it both personal and long overdue.
“To be back on SABC 2 with a daily platform like Eintlik Let’s Connect is everything I’ve worked towards in the past 25 years in the media industry,” she said.
She went on to explain that the show represents far more than another presenting role, but rather a turning point in her professional journey.
“It’s more than a show; it’s a space for real talk, real people and real connection. After the past few years I’ve had, this isn’t just a job; it’s a fresh start and a chance to build something meaningful with South Africa every single day. It’s a homecoming,” Penny added.
