Siya Kolisi’s new girlfriend Rachel John
A TikTok video shared by Dutch-Nigerian model and influencer Rachel John has given fans a rare, laid-back glimpse into her life, quickly gaining traction as viewers tuned in to her candid storytelling and calm on-camera presence.
Uploaded on 20 January 2026, the “get ready with me” clip shows John casually applying her makeup while sharing personal details about her background, interests and ambitions.
The video drew heightened attention amid growing public interest in her relationship with Springbok captain Siya Kolisi, which has kept her firmly in the social media spotlight.
During the video, Rachel revealed her full name as Rachel Henrietta Ekura John, explaining the cultural roots behind it.
She shared that “Henrietta” is her Dutch name, chosen in honour of her grandfather, while “Ekura” comes from her grandmother’s Nigerian tribe.
She also spoke humorously about her birthday, revealing that she was born on 31 December and spent much of her childhood believing the New Year’s Eve fireworks were meant for her.
“Till the age of 12, I thought that all the fireworks were for me,” she said with a laugh.
As the video unfolded, Rachel offered more insight into her personality and passions.
She named Me Before You as her favourite movie and shared that she has written a book about her life and her experience living with ADHD.
She described the project as deeply personal and said she hopes to have it published in English by the end of the year, calling it a milestone she is determined to reach.
Reflecting on her childhood ambitions, Rachel said she once dreamed of becoming a “computer woman,” admitting she did not fully understand what that meant at the time.
However, she explained that her early fascination with technology eventually led her to editing and content creation.
She added that she previously ran a YouTube channel between 2018 and 2019 and hopes to return to the platform in the future.
One of the most unexpected revelations came when Rachel spoke about her love for kickboxing.
Despite describing herself as a gentle person who avoids conflict, she said she has competed in five kickboxing fights and won all of them.
She revealed that she was scheduled to fight in Japan in 2025 but had to withdraw due to an injury, though she hopes to step back into the ring when she recovers.
The video arrives at a time when public curiosity around her relationship with Kolisi continues to grow.
The two-time Rugby World Cup–winning captain has largely kept his personal life private, but their romance was confirmed after they were spotted together on holiday in Zimbabwe and later at Rachel’s birthday celebration in Jeffreys Bay.
