Ex-Kaizer Chiefs star Puso Dithejane has left the Betway Premiership despite interest from Orlando Pirates and Sundowns.

Patrick Maswanganyi might be next to leave the club.

Fire to sign Dithejane from under Sundowns, Orlando Pirates noses

Versatile 21-year-old TS Galaxy man Puso Dithejane has become one of the most reliable performers in the Betway Premiership. Mamelodi Sundowns were thought to be keen on his signature, and his former club, Kaizer Chiefs, also contacted the player. However, Dithejane will be linking up with Mbekezeli Mbokazi in the MLS.

The MLS club confirmed Dithejane’s arrival and gave him a warm welcome:

“Welcome to the Club, Puso. We have acquired winger Puso Dithejane from TS Galaxy F.C. of South Africa’s Betway Premiership.”

Maswanganyi to leave Orlando Pirates?

Patrick Maswanganyi has been unpredictable with his output at Pirates, sometimes sizzling but often disappointing. The undoubtedly gifted left-footer has featured nine times in the league out of a possible 12, chipping in with three goals and an assist. With a new signing in the building, his game time might diminish further.
