Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly plotting a reunion with former youth product Puso Dithejane. However, there are several spanners in the works.

21-year-old Dithejane has become a key member of the TS Galaxy squad and one of the Betway Premiership’s most consistent operators.

Kaizer Chiefs get in touch with Dithejane

According to local reports, Chiefs officials have made initial contact with Puso Dithejane and his family with a view to signing the player, who’s reportedly a target for Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

“I see most journalists are linking him with a move back to Kaizer Chiefs, so yes, yesterday I was with him, and he showed me a number of missed calls from Kaizer Jr, another missed call from Tera Maliwa, the Kaizer Chiefs scout,” Sukazi told Ikwekwezi.

“The boy’s father also phoned me to inform me that he had also received a call from Bobby (Motaung). He also showed me a missed call from Coach Vela Khumalo.

“It seems Kaizer Chiefs are still in the wooing process. Well, let’s see how it will go. Bobby has made contact with Dithejane’s father, but he advised Bobby to speak to me about the boy,” he added.

When is the next Kaizer Chiefs match?

After the long AFCON 2025 break, the Glamour Boys resume their campaign against Golden Arrows on Tuesday, 20 January. Kickoff is at 19:30. Chiefs are just four points adrift of the summit, while Arrows are stuck in mid-table with 16 points.
