Mzansi has lost yet another talented young gentleman. Siyabonga Zubane, who played the role of Sdumo in Mzansi’s Magic telenovela Gomora died on Saturday. We are still in shock over Siyabonga’s passing.

Especially, as more details regarding the actor’s alleged suicide have leaked to the press. On Saturday, it was reported that the Siyabonga took his own life in the most painful manner.

His industry peers took to social media to pour their hearts out. Gomora has since sent a statement to SurgeZirc SA confirming his passing.

“It is with heavy hearts that we confirm the passing of one of our cast members, Siyabonga, who played Sdumo. He passed away in the early hours of this
morning,” read the statement.

“We pray for his family’s healing through this devastation. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Losing such a young person with immense talent, who had a bright future
ahead, is a complete loss to the entire industry,” it continued.
